Have you heard of light painting? this is when you leave the shutter open for a long time and use light to create an image. Usually it gets done with a flash light or a laser. In this instance I did it with fireworks but rather than moving the light I moved the camera around.

wow. That is a pretty cool effect. I especially like the top one because the lines are so fine, almost like hairline scratches in metal or plastic. Do you use anything for post-processing? We use GIMP and it works really nicely. I have a bunch of links if you want them.
