4th of July light painting with fireworks

Have you heard of light painting? this is when you leave the shutter open for a long time and use light to create an image. Usually it gets done with a flash light or a laser. In this instance I did it with fireworks but rather than moving the light I moved the camera around.

4th of July Moon

I took this picture this past 4th of July. The second small light you see is the reflection of the moon in my lense. I thought that I was a very nice effect.

This picture was taken in Bothell Landing Park roughly around 2:20pm. The lighting was very warm but I managed to take a couple of good shots like this one.

Fireworks!

This is a very interesting picture. I decided to set the ISO to 400 and set an aperture of F/14. This lead the camera to have a shutter speed of 20 seconds which captured all the fireworks for 20 seconds.
